F.C.S.S. sponsors and/or provides funding for cummunity-based programs, services, and social initiatives with a focus on prevention that enhances the well being of individuals, families, and the community as a whole.  F.C.S.S. is funded through a partnership between the Province of Alberta and the Town of Eckville and provides services such as Information & Referral, Lifeline, Form Completion Assistance, and the Food Bank.
